FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Practical answers about how renovation inquiries, estimates and projects work.

Estimates and getting started

How do I request an estimate?

Use the short form on any page, or the detailed form if you want to add scope details, timing and photos. You do not need an account. We review each request and follow up to discuss the project.

Is there a charge for an estimate?

Estimate terms depend on the type and size of project. We will tell you before any visit whether a fee applies, so there are no surprises.

Is submitting the form a commitment?

No. Submitting a request simply asks us to contact you. Scope, price and any appointment are confirmed directly with you, and nothing is binding until a written contract is signed.

Do you need to visit the property?

For most projects, yes — a firm scope usually needs measurements and a look at existing conditions. Some questions can be answered from photos first. Site visits are always arranged by mutual confirmation.

What information helps you give a better estimate?

The town or ZIP code, what you want to change, approximate sizes, photos of the current condition, your timeframe, and whether the property is occupied. Budget ranges are optional and are never treated as a quote.

Permits, scope and scheduling

Who handles permits?

Many renovations in New Jersey require permits from the local construction office, but requirements depend on the scope and the municipality. Whether a permit is needed, and who files it, is confirmed in your written scope.

Do you do plumbing and electrical work?

Renovations often include plumbing and electrical changes. That work must be performed by appropriately licensed trades, and we will explain how it is handled for your project.

How long will my project take?

It depends on scope, material lead times, permits and weather for exterior work. We give you a realistic schedule for your specific project rather than a generic promise.

What happens if you find hidden damage?

Opening walls, floors or roofs sometimes reveals rot, water damage or outdated work. If that happens we stop, show you what we found, and agree on any change in writing before continuing.

Property types and service area

Do you work with landlords and property managers?

Yes. We take inquiries from homeowners, landlords, multifamily owners, property managers and commercial clients. The detailed form lets you tell us your role and whether the property is occupied.

What areas do you serve?

We work on New Jersey properties. Share the project ZIP code in any form and we will confirm whether it is within our service area.

Do you take on large commercial or industrial construction?

No. Our commercial work focuses on interior renovations of offices, retail spaces, multifamily common areas and rental units — not industrial, high-rise or heavy civil projects.

Ready to talk about your project?

Tell us what you have in mind. We will review your request and follow up to discuss scope, timing and next steps — no account needed.
